Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring streamlined patient care processes and fostering a positive patient experience.

The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage tasks within a condensed work schedule.


Responsibilities:


Patient Interaction:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing necessary information.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with patients, promoting trust and open communication.
  • Create a welcoming environment that ensures patient comfort during interactions.

Appointment Management:

  • Coordinate patient appointments, aligning schedules with healthcare providers and patient preferences.
  • Confirm appointments and communicate relevant preappointment instructions to patients.
  • Contribute to optimizing the appointment calendar to minimize wait times and enhance operational efficiency.

Documentation and Administration:

  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) for patients, ensuring data integrity and organization.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including paperwork processing and record management.
  • Collaborate with administrative colleagues to facilitate efficient data flow and communication.

Referral Coordination:

  • Support the coordination of referrals to specialists or external facilities, ensuring timely transfer of pertinent medical records.
  • Facilitate smooth communication of essential information to referred providers.

Team Collaboration and Follow-Up:

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure clear communication among providers, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress, treatment plans, and any required followup activities as directed by healthcare providers.

Patient Education:

  • Provide patients with essential information about their conditions, available treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Confirm patients' understanding of postappointment instructions and recommended followup care.

Outstanding Customer Service:

  • Deliver exemplary customer service, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Address patient concerns and complaints with tact, escalating issues if necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred).
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or healthcarerelated roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Efficient multitasking abilities within a condensed work schedule.

Job Types:
Part-time, Internship

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
₹4, ₹5,000.00 per month
