ROLE:
Principal - HANA Modelling 1.0


ROLE DESCRIPTION- The Visualization Solution Architect is a critical role related to implementation Visualization solutions related to problem identification, analysis and diagnosis of pain points through a visualization offering.

- The following are key responsibilities:

  • Architecting, designing and helping build successful implementations of visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, SAC, Tableau, MS Power Bi, Tibco Spotfire, R Shiny via custom integration with source systems and ERPs such as SAP S4 HANA, SAP IBP, SAP ECC, ORACLE ERP, JDE, AWS, MS Azure in customer organizations.
  • Sound knowledge about advance analytics or statistical languages such as R, SAS and Python and implementation of its use cases in Visualization projects.
  • Sound knowledge about integration of visualization tools using common connection types such as JDBC, ODBC connection, Odata Services, Webservices, XML services etc.
  • Exposure to both Cloud and on premise connection architectures.
  • Sound knowledge about Supply chain process and functional understanding of various functional modules of ERP preferably SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S4 HANA.Liaising with Sales and Delivery Teams to help grow the Services Business around Visualization and Analytics tools in line with Organizational strategy and goals.
  • Mentoring Junior Analytics Team members within the Organization.
  • Drive with building Assets and Accelerators within Visualization domain which compliments standard offerings.
  • Ability to devise and lead GoTo Market strategies for Analytics Team to assist Sales and Alliance teams in expanding Bristlecones Analytics offering footprint globally.
  • Build quick deployable Assets and Accelerators to reduce the overall cost to serve.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- 12 plus years of experience in Visualization and Reporting tools, at least 4 years in designing and implementing connection between Visualization tool and source systems.- At least 5 years of experience in Analytics and Visualization related Product development.- Sound knowledge about Supply chain process and its functional areas.- Certification would be an added advantage.


PROCESS KNOWLEDGE- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to breakdown complex business problems into root issues, recommend and build solutions.- Expertise in atleast 2 industries e.g.

CPG, Chemical, Automotive, Life Sciences etc.


TECHNICAL EXPERTISE- Good level of understanding of top visualization tools such as Tableau, SAC, Qlik Sense, Qlik View, MS Power Bi, Tibco Spotfire.- Certified Expert level in at least one visualization tool.- Deep knowledge and experience in working with Statistical tools such as R, SAS and python.- Ability to architect an end to end solution while understanding the integration aspects between Visualization Tools with ERP systems or other source systems.- Ability to lead and conduct Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.- Sound knowledge about implementation of data management and ETL tools.- Deep knowledge about implementation of custom integration methods using JDBC, ODBC connection, Odata Services, Webservices, XML services etc.


SOFT SKILLS- Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written.- Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment.- Conduct trainings and be a mentor for junior team members.
