ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IMPORTANT TO GET THE JOB DONE)


75% Office 365 Administration

  • Become thought leader and primary stakeholder of Office 365 and associated services in the Carter's environment.
  • Ensuring the operational health of Teams, SharePoint, and other O365 services including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
  • Facilitate the migration of data into the Office 365 cloud platform and Office 365 SharePoint
  • Manage Teams Phone System
  • Support business partners in identifying areas where Office 365 can be utilized to improve existing processes.
  • Monitor and communicate to stakeholders the performance of the services.
  • Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.
  • Evangelize and educate endusers on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.

20% Computing Systems Analysis & Design

  • Exercise independent judgement and logic in prioritization of tasks and developing solutions to technical problems.
  • Design, develop, document, and test computer systems or programs relating to user or system design specifications to ensure ease of use and overall system acceptance.
  • Research commercially available software to identify products that might meet departmental requirements; investigates products' ability to meet user, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Evaluates impact of solution alternatives and assesses risk to support decisionmaking.
  • Adhere to and identify potential shortcomings related to SOX and PCI requirements and inform staff on established Company policy.
  • Document and share knowledge with staff and other team members]
  • Remain current on industry trends and advancements in technology.

5% Systems Support & Administration

  • Resolve technical issues while providing excellent Customer Service by effectively communicating with user during support process.
  • End user equipment ordering, configuration, delivery, relocation, and repair; including analysis and selection of technology required, evaluating impact of lease vs purchase of equipment, & research into new technologies which may affect Company standards.
  • File restoration, file, and folder permission, & Active Directory management

SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Potentially responsible for supervision of 12 junior team members

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE - ANY DUTIES NOT CONSIDERED ESSENTIAL)

  • Understands and supports the Company's goals and objectives and makes certain that his/her actions and decisions, as well as those of his/her subordinates, are consistent with them.
  • Coordinate with Systems, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to resolve outages.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED FOR JOB PERFORMANCE)

  • High level of knowledge of Office 36
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Mobile Device Management
  • Understanding of a hybrid Windows and Mac Enterprise environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience in a Desktop Support or similar role
  • Strong communication skills required for facetoface client interaction and intrateam collaboration.
  • Must work nights and weekends when required and be available to be contacted while not on duty.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of new technology.
  • Handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft server management tools including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File and Folder permissions management and others.
  • Ability to communicate and function as a thought leader in the Technology Services team.
