    Description

    Role: DGM - Finance, Finance Manager is a senior-level executive role that involves overseeing management of an organization's financial health.

    Education Qualification: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration. A master's degree, such as an MBA with a specialization in finance or a similar field, is often preferred. Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can be advantageous.

    Years of Experience: Significant experience in finance or accounting is typically required, often 10+ years, with a portion of it in a leadership role.

    Travel Requirement: If Required

    Accountable and Responsible for :

    • Financial Oversight and Reporting: Ensure accurate tracking of the organization's revenues, expenditures, and investments. Supervise the financial department to ensure company financial commitments are met.
    • Budgeting and Planning: Lead the budgeting process, prepare detailed budgets that support the organization's strategic plan, and monitor progress against them throughout the fiscal year.
    • Reporting: Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts. Prepare financial reports for management, board, investors, and statutory bodies.
    • Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Stay abreast of changes or updates in financial regulations and legislation.
    • Financial Strategy: Develop strategic financial initiatives that align with the company's overall growth strategy. This could include expansion plans, cost management, and capital structure optimization.
    • Cash Flow Management: Gauge cash flow, understand the liquidity aspects of the company, manage working capital effectively, and make provisions for financial peaks and troughs. Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and mitigate financial risks
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with stakeholders including shareholders, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Maintain positive relationships to ensure favorable terms for financing and other financial undertakings.
    • Risk Management: Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the business. Implement risk management frameworks and controls to protect company assets.
    • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring they are aligned with the company goals. Provide mentorship and support professional development of team members.
    • Investment and Capital Projects: Evaluate potential investment opportunities and capital projects. Analyze their financial implications and provide recommendations.
    • Cost Control and Reduction: Develop policies and procedures to control and reduce costs. Drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

    • Seamless and Undisrupted Fiscal Operations through --- Adequate Working Capital availability, Optimized Credit Lines with Banks & Customers, Zero Unresolved Taxation Litigation and Comprehensive Audit Compliance.
    • Zero default on MIS Reporting to both the Executive Management as well as the Banks-&-Investors
    • A Robust Fiscal Discipline across the matrix of the Organization.
