Precision for Medicine is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our global team, working in India (remote based position).


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of the accounts payable function.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the accounts payable requirements by vendor
  • Provide support to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearend close
  • Responsible for supporting the daytoday operations of the payable function in Infor General Ledger System including, but not limited to: entering vendor invoices, processing employee and consultant expense reimbursements, obtaining required information and documents for new vendor setup, ensure compliance with company policies and project guidelines, etc.
  • Preparation of weekly payment batches
  • Responding to vendor inquiries on payment and providing remittance advices on payments processed
  • Provide internal customer support to employees and consultants related to payment inquiries
  • Collaborate with others in Finance to support overall department goals and objectives
  • Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow and internal controls
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Track and record monthly corporate card expenses

Qualifications:


Minimum Required:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Other Required:


  • A minimum of 2+ years' prior experience in an accounts payable or financial environment

Preferred:


  • Associate degree in business related field a plus
  • Experience with ERP Financial Systems
  • Microsoft Office

Competencies:


  • Working knowledge of accounts payable or Infor or related software package, strong PC skills including excel and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Flexibility and willing to work on multiple assignments of varying tasks with personnel throughout the organization
  • Ability to learn quickly. Good oral and written communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with management and others throughout the organization
  • Exhibits selfmotivation, and is able to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment
  • Team player with a desire to be an active, longterm participant in the growth of the company
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines
