    Description

    Job Title: Assembly Engineer / Assembly Line Engineer / Assembly Line Automation Engineer

    Position Summary-

    Assembly Engineer / Assembly Line Engineer / Assembly Line Automation Engineer: will play a crucial role in designing and implementing components of our automated assembly lines which include robotic arms, conveyors, and advanced sensor systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a keen interest in pushing the boundaries of automation technology. You'll be responsible to work in a team and delivery as part of a team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Work closely with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate components and technologies.

    Design, develop, and optimize automated systems for inhouse assembly line, focusing on robotics, conveyor systems, and sensor integration. Also you'll be in–charge of effortless working of this assembly line.

    Collaborate with the project team to understand requirements and develop engineering solutions that meet production goals.

    Program and troubleshoot robotic and PLC systems to maximize efficiency and reliability.

    Conduct simulations and tests to validate the performance of automated systems.

    Provide support and enhancements for automation setups to improve functionality and resolve issues.

    Prepare technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and operating manuals.

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in automation and robotics.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

    5+ years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong background in robotics, control systems, and sensor technology.

    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.

    Experience with PLC programming and familiarity with major brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

    Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with robotic arms, automation, assembly designing, designing for assembly, conveying systems, infrared sensors and their application in automation.

    A working knowledge of injection moulding processes and design, will be an added advantage.

    Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM).

    Salary Budget: 6 LPA (can be adjusted for deserving candidates)
