RentoMojo caters to the needs of working professionals by offering furniture and appliances on a rental basis, providing more flexibility compared to owning expensive items. Currently, they have 130,000 subscribers with an average rental period of 12-14 months.
Market size estimates suggest a significant growth potential, with the current market valued at US$4.1 billion and projected to reach US$13 billion by 2025. The company operates in 16 cities across India and has about 700 employees.

ROLE: IT Engineer
LOCATION: Bangalore

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our IT Department at RentoMojo. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in system configuration, network setup, asset management, software installation, troubleshooting, and basic networking. This internship offers valuable insights into the IT operations of a leading e-commerce business in the furniture and appliances rental industry.

Responsibilities and Ownership:

System Configuration: Assist in setting up computer systems for new employees and ensure their proper functioning.
Network Setup and Maintenance: Collaborate on network infrastructure setup and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
Backline Creation and Management: Support backup creation and maintenance for critical systems and data.
Asset Management: Assist in tracking IT assets, managing inventory, and coordinating asset allocation processes.
Software Installation and Troubleshooting: Provide support for software installations, updates, and basic issue resolution.
Basic Networking: Aid in maintaining LAN and WAN infrastructure, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security.

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Enthusiasm to contribute to the IT operations of an e-commerce business.

Duration: This internship is for 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent offer based on performance.
