The rate of growth of the firm presents constantly changing needs from our internal operations. Thus, there is a continuous change agenda.


Key value drivers for the firm, and therefore for Procurement, are ensuring the right quality products and services are sourced from a reputable and diverse supplier base; that these activities take place at the right cost; with appropriate operational efficiency and dependability; vendor selection and management is appropriately risk managed; and that visibility is provided to all relevant stakeholders.

In addition, Procurement is the key stakeholder in BCG's "Source to Pay" processes; the firm has a vision to increasingly optimizer processes end-to-end and the appointee will be a key architect of future ways of structuring these activities.


As the firm continues to grow, supplier governance is an increasingly prevalent need - for both providers of materials and services (including contractors required on the consulting and BST teams).

The firm looks to Procurement to play a key role in defining and operating new processes to ensure vendors are appropriately vetted, on-boarded and managed throughout their relationship with BCG.


The Procurement function operates in an Agile work style in all it does, from building digital solutions to rolling out to new coverage areas for Procurement, whether category of spend or geography.

A continuous improvement approach is applied, with process engineering capability within the team.

Currently the operations team provides support services for supplier onboarding, supplier screening, contract administration, helpdesk and analytics. The service portfolio will be expended to include both upstream, Source to Contract and downstream, Contract to Pay services. The team is currently 25 strong, delivering from 3 global hubs.

This exciting role will support BCG's continued success, and transformation program.

As part of Global Finance & Procurement's extended leadership, you will play a pivotal role in further transforming our end-to-end Source to Pay lifecycle.

You will make our S2P process smarter and faster; unifying, delivering and securing the adoption of S2P business processes and optimizing risk strategies for BCG's global business units and supplier network.

You will lead our global Operations team so as to continuously improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and governance.


You will:

  • Deliver market leading buying, sourcing, contract, risk management and payment services
  • Drive customer adoption, satisfaction and service performance across the S2P lifecycle
  • Develop the global operating model to achieve service resilience across global hub locations
  • Maintain and continuously improve integrated processes, procedures and systems
  • Create roadmaps for service portfolio growth, and next generation solutions
  • Make tough prioritization calls to meet changing business needs and strategy objectives
  • Simplify, standardize and digitize to create an engaging, easy to use 'on demand' service
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with Legal, IT, HR to ensure cross functional alignment
  • Drive policy and process compliance; securing governance, risk management and control
  • Generate actionable insight through data management: capture, quality and maintenance
  • Deliver transparency, control and actionable insight through metrics & reporting
  • Develop talent growth, performance and a dynamic culture aligned to BCG's Values
