Position Overview:


As an Architect / Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating inspiring and functional spaces that meet the needs and preferences of clients.

You will be responsible for leading design projects from conceptualization to completion, collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality architectural and interior design solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Conceptualization and Development:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints for architectural and interior design projects.
  • Develop innovative design concepts that integrate aesthetic, functional, and environmental considerations.
  • Create sketches, mood boards, and 3D renderings to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Space Planning and Layout Design:
  • Conduct site surveys and analyze spatial requirements to develop efficient and ergonomic space plans.
  • Design interior layouts, floor plans, and furniture arrangements that optimize space utilization and traffic flow.
  • Select and specify materials, finishes, colors, and furnishings to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of interior spaces.
  • Architectural Detailing and Construction Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
  • Coordinate with structural engineers and MEP consultants to integrate building systems and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents, specifications, and schedules to guide contractors in the implementation of design intent.
  • Material Selection and Specification:
  • Research and source materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with the design concept, budget, and performance requirements.
  • Evaluate the sustainability, durability, and aesthetic qualities of materials to make informed selections that meet project objectives.
  • Prepare material boards and sample presentations for client approval and project documentation.
  • Project Management and Coordination:
  • Lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and costeffective project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Client Communication and Presentation:
  • Present design concepts, progress updates, and final deliverables to clients through meetings, presentations, and visual aids.
  • Respond to client feedback, incorporate revisions, and manage expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Professional licensure or certification as an architect or interior designer (depending on jurisdiction).
  • Proven experience in architectural and interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and design styles.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to architectural and interior design.
  • Strong design sensibility, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:
₹12, ₹51,108.26 per month
