THE OPPORTUNITY
Finance & Accounts is an important function of any organization.

We are looking for an ambitious Financial Controller to provide support to the finance, accounts, compliance, and admin departments by managing daily financial, accounting and administrative tasks.


THE ROLE
Specific responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and review general accounts, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and others accounts to ensure that all business transactions are properly recorded as per the GAAP and IFRS
  • Review month and yearend closing adjustments
  • Manage and direct the preparation of monthly financial reports on a timely basis
  • Liaise with headquarters for monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting
  • Review the budget and cashflow forecasts on regular intervals (bimonthly, monthly)
  • Manage and process payrolls
  • Review the petty cash reports.
  • Manage related party transactions and invoicing, ensure related party compliance review and requirements.
  • Manage and process payments to suppliers
  • Design and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate business and financial risks
  • Keep track and assess the company's financial status and performance against internal and external benchmarks to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Ensure compliance to statutory law, finance, and tax regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors or regulatory assessment team, Accounts/Tax consultant
  • Perform other clerical works, bank transactions and liaison tasks as needed by the company
  • Assist all other departments for the administrative related tasks, leading and monitoring the administrative team.
  • Lead and supervise the accounting and finance team
  • Other ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned by Group Finance Manager

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Good user of Ms. Office (Preferably Ms. Excel and Ms. Word)
  • Good user of English language
  • Having 5+ years relevant experience in the finance field
  • Professional Qualification (CA, ACCA or CPA)
