Role and Responsibility of Fire and Safety officer

Monitor the job activity at the site to ensure safety compliance.

Maintaining records of work permits, checklists.
Coordinates with site in charge and contactors on Safety matters.
Coordinate with all depts. on safety matters.
Conducts initial safety induction for all workers.
Conducts and carries out incident/accident investigations with work supervisors and submit the relevant reports.
Maintain a good housekeeping and safe practices.
Shall participate in safety Tool Box talk.
Coordinated with site engineer to identify and resolve various safety issues.
Monitoring safe operation of all work.
Maintaining records of work permits, checklists.
Conducting Safety Training /TOOL BOX TALK at regular basis.
Implementation of management safety policies, Barricades, Sign boards, P.P.E., etc.
Responsible to provide safety materials and relevant documents like site safety hand books, posters, forms etc.
Ensuring safe access to all the employees.
Scaffold safety.
Implementing Electrical safety, Hot work Safety Etc.
First aid and emergency proceeding.
Keeping work environment safe and proper housekeeping.
Conduct random onsite safety inspections and report.
Coordinated with site engineer to identify and resolve various safety issues.
