A vacancy for the Ho ERP Solutions has arisen within Airbus India


The position holder is responsible for the day to day management of the ERP Solutions team in India and will be a part of the Information Management (IM) Leadership team.

Success of this position will require strong collaboration with the global Airbus teams.


ERP Solutions is a transversal organisation acting as Centre of Excellence for every topic related to ERP/SAP at Airbus: from infrastructure, basis, development to user experience activities, with high level technologies and functional architecture.

Our team is answering business needs from the whole Airbus organisation, utilising agile-at-scale, to deliver products and services in a user centric approach (customer satisfaction).

Therefore, we are in contact (mainly through the global ERP CoE) with every Airbus domain using SAP as a digital backbone, from Manufacturing to Customer Services, Finance, Procurement etc.


The position holder will closely work with the global ERP Centre of Excellence team in order to enable the implementation of the overall strategy and company level governance model for ERP/SAP technology.

The incumbent shall be responsible for establishing the right kind of alignment with the global stakeholders and ensure adaptation to the changing technology landscape.

They will also be responsible for developing people skills and careers and aim at people adaptability/ employability
- attract and retain the right kind of people in the team.


Reporting Structure
The Head of ERP Solutions in India will report operationally to the Ho of Digital & Information Management India

Currently two Group Managers directly to be managed.


Role


The primary responsibility of this position will be to manage the full scope of the ERP Solutions team in India while ensuring close collaboration with the global ERP Centre of Excellence team in alignment with all relevant stakeholders.

The incumbent will also be responsible to evolve the current ERP organisation in India with the aim to integrate ERP and Operation Solutions teams to create one integrated India ERP CoE organisation in full alignment with the evolution of the global one.


The position holder should also ensure and nurture a strong partnership with SAP Labs India in alignment with the global Airbus / SAP partnership.

This is intended to contribute to a continuous development of ERP skills/competences within the team and allow them to leverage SAP's latest product developments to drive innovation related to ERP on a global scale.


TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business Responsibilities

  • Support the Portfolio Management of the ERP/SAP scope on global level: Manage allocation of business continuity and run budget envelopes to the PSL/Product
  • Align with global CoE of ERP to support PSL's on Design, Build and Run on SAP and optimise Endto End Products & Services for SAP related topics
  • Work with the global counterparts to maximise value of SAP contract at company level and engage in strategic relationship and governance with SAP
  • Ensure and nurture a strong partnership with SAP Labs India in alignment with the global Airbus / SAP partnership in order to drive product innovations
  • Responsible to take business decisions in accordance with organisation policies and procedures
  • Ensure team is implementing and following best practice and last delivery models and concepts, to sustain ongoing development and enable best in class deliverable
  • Promote a high quality of enduser experience by considering last SAP features to implement to answering the business needs
  • Work closely with the ERP business teams to ensure the projects meet business needs, on time, on cost and on quality
  • Take the accountability of developing and maintaining a detailed project followup while ensuring that deliverables are in line with the timeline. Manage accordingly risks through mitigation planning
  • Ability to provide solutions, determine overall management direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
  • Managing coordination of the teams and working groups engaged globally in the different projects
  • Manage global communications and alignment with all stakeholders
  • Liaises with and updates progress to senior management
  • Overall Cost/Budget estimation and control by managing all aspects

Team Management:


  • Conduct the performance evaluation of the team
  • Help the team identify their appropriate career path & develop competencies of the Team and prepare for future competencies
  • Lead the India ERP team using a performance management and development process with the right training program.
  • Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when it's required.
  • Work with Human Resources Team to interview and recruit right team based on the business need
