Job Designation:
Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
- Financial Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software.
- Record daytoday financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and purchases.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial documentation.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Process vendor invoices and maintain vendor relationships.
- Payroll Processing:
- Calculate and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation for audits and reviews.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
- Experience in the hospitality or food service industry.
