Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven business development head to lead our expansion in automotive, manufacturing, chemicals, automation, and allied sectors. Reporting to senior leadership, you will spearhead revenue growth through new client acquisitions, partnerships, and market penetration. This is an office-based role near PCMC Metro Station, with flexibility for travel to client sites, industry events, and trade shows. Ideal candidates thrive independently, own their pipeline, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients in automotive, manufacturing, chemicals, automation, and related process industries.
  • Identify prospects, build a robust sales pipeline, and close high-value deals through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to uncover opportunities in target sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align BD efforts with company goals and deliver exceptional client value.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings; travel as needed (up to 30-40%).
  • Drive self-initiated lead generation and innovation in BD approaches to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8-15 years of proven BD/sales experience in automotive, manufacturing, chemicals, automation, or allied sectors, with a track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
  • Self-driven hustler with strong initiative; ability to operate independently without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Deep industry knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and regulatory landscapes in India.
  • Willingness to work from the office near PCMC Metro Station (mandatory unless travelling).
  • Strong analytical skills for market sizing, forecasting, and ROI calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales within Pune/Maharashtra's industrial hubs (e.g., Chakan, Pimpri-Chinchwad).
  • Network with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, chemical plants, or automation firms.
