About OCAP project:


ICS is hiring for the position of Program Coordinators (PC) to be posted in Kolkata, West Bengal with frequent travel to other districts in the intervention areas.


We are implementing project called
Oral and Cervical Cancer Awareness and Prevention Program (OCAP) in four states of India (Goa, West Bengal & Telangana) in phased manner.

Three highly population dense districts from each state will be selected and all the urban towns in that district will covered under this program.

Program Coordinators (PCs) will be responsible to coordinate all the project activities and events in all the urban towns of three selected districts.


Job Expectation / Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for overall implementation of the project in their designated districts.
  • Identification of local partners (NGO/CBO/school/college/ industry unit/ community/ institutes/hospitals) and partnership with them.
  • Identification of local cancer screening centers and creating referral linkages.
  • Approach and Coordinate with district and block health officials to promote implementation of OCPP & CCPP in the field.
  • Coordinating and conducting on ground events (Master training / ToT / awareness sessions / meetings / demand generation / training / CMEs / communication etc)
  • Preparing budgets / reports on the progress of the project; develop & implement Work Plans, quarterly and annual reports and M&E reports.
  • Collect monthly data from various partners in the specified formats, compile it and share with ICS, NHQ on monthly basis.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting is mandatory.
  • Conduct visits to intervention districts as per need and ensure implementation of the program activities and timely and complete monthly data reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve program goal.
  • Extensive and frequent travelling required.
  • Work from home as and when required.

Essential:


Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or Public Health with minimum of 5-6 years' experience in the public health sector, preferably managing community led public health program.


Other Skills:

She / He should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language and English.

Experience in working with public health / cancer awareness projects and knowledge of health and training issues desired.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.

Attentive to details and able to produce documents and coordinate activities with minimum supervision to a professional quality.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.


Language requirement:
Bengali, Hindi & English.


Salary:
₹30,000.00 per month
