_PEP and Customer Due Diligence Quality Assurance_
_ _
_ _
_Responsibilities_:
_ _
_Proven experience as Quality Analyst in AML/KYC domain and preferred CAMS/CFE certification._
_ _
_Undertake Quality Assurance checks on both PEP Screening and customer due diligence_
_ _
_Evaluate and common areas and process deficiencies identified during quality checking to assist the development and improvement of the process_
_ _
_Identify any key risk areas and bring up to management_
_ _
_Review policies and procedures, regulatory compliance training for compliance with applicable laws and regulations including OFAC/ HMT, suspicious activity reporting (SAR) and KYC regulations_
_ _
_Support the development and continued improvement of the Quality Assurance process_
_ _
_Ensure high quality standards are maintained with timely and effective feedback to PEP screening and CDD analyst_
_ _
_Identifies areas of risk and make recommendations on operational improvements, quality assurance and any additional training crucial to mitigate risk. Seeks ways to assist the organization in strengthening customer due diligence and PEP screening process, remain compliant and improve efficiency._

_Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports with root cause analysis will be a part of the business review_
_ _
_A Risk-Based Approach should be followed to select the sample sizes ranging from 100% to 20% over time & performance. Quality Teams can increase the sample size and perform enhanced quality review for the analyst or the process as a whole, if the quality is below threshold._

_Reporting of analyst wise scorecard with in depth defect analysis followed by corrective action plan_
_ _
_Identifying any process gaps within the quality assurance review to make sure that areas of concern are addressed and resolved_
_ _
_Making sure processing is performed accurately and within an agreed turn-around time_
_ _
_Supervising and producing progress reports to identify failures, trends and development needs analysis to make sure the PEP Screening and CDD community are building their knowledge and capability_

_Qualifications_:

_Minimum qualifications_
_ _
_Meaningful experience in internal audit; quality control; risk management; operations/quality assurance within AML/KYC function._
_ _
_Bachelor's degree with meaningful experience of FCC proven track record_
_ _
_ _
_Preferred qualifications_:
_ _
_AML quality control experience, strong analytical and Project leadership skills preferred_
