Position Description:

>6yrs Experience in Infrastructure service, Storage domain

>5 Years experience in implementing NAS data migration practices using variety of tools like Datadobi, Komprise, StorageX, XCP, etc.

History of supporting weekend production data copy and infrastructure tech refresh activities

Practiced at providing weekend service delivery support cover from any Vendor NAS infra to NetApp Storage.

Experienced in NetApp Storage (administering NetApp Storage - CDOT and 7-Mode, Troubleshooting Performance Issues, performing firmware and operating system upgrades, using storage management tools - OnCommand Unified Manager/ Performance Manager/ Insight, Managing backup integration with NetApp technologies);
Proficient understanding of NetApp Storage concepts, related management tools and related Storage technologies (Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, Snapmirror, IntelliSnap) including monitoring and troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies, security hardening and performance tuning;
Experience in other NetApp storage technologies like Storage grid, E-Series, SolidFire would be highly regarded

Experience with automation tools such as NetApp Workflow Automation;
Experience in writing basic PowerShell/Python scripts would be beneficial.

Strong understanding of Storage protocols and technologies (CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel switching and networks);

Knowledge in ITIL methodologies:
change, incident, problem and configuration management;
Understanding of outsourcing/managed service and Cloud industry;
ITIL Fundamentals certification (desirable);
Support Network Attached Storage (NAS) / Netapp platform

Strong experience in Netapp 7-mode and cluster-mode configuration and support

In-depth knowledge of Netapp Snap suite of products (Snapmirror, Virtual Storage console, SnapManager for Oracle, SnapManager for SQL etc.), ISCSI, NFS, CIFS

Configuration and support of NDMP backups between a Netapp and third party backup products

Storage migration from 7 mode to Cluster mode using 7TT and WFA

Knowledge in Windows clusters, VMware troubleshooting, SQL Clustering and Virtual storage troubleshooting mandatory

Responsible for infrastructure Support and projects including system design, planning, installations, configurations, upgrades and planning. Work with global team to ensure a smooth project deployment

Provide storage infrastructure system management including capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning, security management etc.

Should Manage Tier-3 support following ITIL practice and incident management

Proven experience in complex, enterprise level NAS platform in a mission critical environment
