    Description

    Introduction:


    Beroe is seeking a Drupal (10) Front-end Developer to manage our company website's appearance, user experience, and content – owning responsibility for its look and feel.

    You'll primarily work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal theming to create custom themes and translate design mock-ups into functional web pages.

    You'll focus on aligning the site's visual elements with the design mock-ups.

    In addition, you will work closely with your fellow Design Team to improve the overall user experience by optimizing website performance, enhancing navigation, and ensuring that user experiences are smooth and intuitive.

    You also need to ensure that the websites are responsive, our Full-Stack Developer reviews the code, and it's responsive on all screen sizes.

    This position requires a deep understanding of front-end technologies and experience in web content management to ensure our website functions well and is kept accurate and up-to-date.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and theme custom Drupal websites, translating design mock-ups into responsive and dynamic web pages.
    Manage website projects from concept through completion, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
    Optimize website performance to improve user experience, focusing on speed and responsiveness across all devices.
    Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Drupal-specific theming techniques to maintain and enhance website aesthetics and functionality.
    Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
    Oversee content updates, ensuring all website content is current, relevant, and well-organized.
    Collaborate with designers to refine design workflows and ensure visual consistency across digital platforms.
    Monitor website analytics and adjust the front end to improve user engagement and retention.
    Conduct regular website audits to ensure compliance with the latest web standards and accessibility guidelines.
    Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
    Customize and theme Drupal CMS to create engaging, dynamic websites.
    Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
    Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    Integrate with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
    Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and Drupal CMS.

    Skills Required:

    Proven expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.Strong experience with Drupal theming, including familiarity with TwigProficiency in using front-end development tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector.

    Ability to write clean, efficient, and accessible JavaScript without reliance on jQuery.
    Experience in converting layouts and wireframes into well-thought-out HTML pages.
    Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects.
    Extensive experience with Drupal CMS, including theming, module development, and site-building.
    Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
    Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
    Knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
    Native understanding of UX/UI Design and Figma software.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Native understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)Experienced in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4Ability to manage website projects, including web content management and scheduling.

    Excellent English language and grammar.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field, or equivalent experience.

    At least seven years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically with Drupal 7 and 10.Demonstrated project management skills in a web development context.
