We are seeking a dynamic Video Editor to join our team.

This individual will play a pivotal role in leading independent video editing projects and providing valuable support to the video team in various production tasks, including shooting, scripting, and other content-related activities related to but not restricted to health awareness, promotional and conferences.

The Requirements:

• Proficiency in Video Editing Softwares : Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.
• You have 2+ years of experience in video editing.
• Completed an undergraduate degree program, preferably in Mass Comm / Journalism.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of professional audio/video and staging techniques, facilities, and equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, taking direction and feedback from team lead, clients, producers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with copyright laws and usage rights for music, images, and stock footage.
• Proficiency in working with Mac operating systems and familiarity with Mac shortcuts and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity in video editing tasks.

The Role:

• Take charge of independent video editing projects, from conceptualization to final delivery.
• Develop comprehensive project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to align project objectives.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
• Assist the video team in shooting, setting up equipment, and ensuring proper lighting and sound.
• Contribute to script development, offering creative input and ensuring content adheres to project objectives.
• Generate creative ideas for video content, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Assist in managing content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of videos and related materials.
