    Description

    Overview

    Due to continuing company success and expansion plans, the global MIS team is seeking to build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we're looking for an Azure Administrator who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. The successful candidate will have a passion for information technology and be an expert in Hybrid IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Information Technology, be familiar with Microsoft Cloud technologies and follows established processes and works as intended.

    (The definitive position title and internal corporate level will be established through a sequence of interviews and assessments)

    Responsibilities

    Deploy and maintain Azure resources and other cloud technologies.

    Implementation and support for Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.

    Design architecture for integrating core infrastructure technologies in support of enterprise applications.

    Perform risk assessments of existing and new technology deployments.

    Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.

    Monitor cloud and on-premise resources to verify integrity and availability.

    Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate as appropriate and offer solutions.

    Collaborate with application development, network/security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment, including validation planning, validation testing coordination, and reporting production readiness for deployment.

    Establish standards, tools, and processes to be used by the team and create procedures to guarantee adherence and compliance to those standards.

    Develop, document, and understand internal IT processes and procedures.

    Utilize automation tools such as Power Automate or similar.

    Ensure timely resolution of issues, responsible for communicating with all impacted parties the status and resolution of all issues.

    Communicate with team and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages.

    Keep current on new technologies and advancements in current technologies.

    Assists with special projects or other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of active, hands-on experience in Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience actively implementing cloud solutions and using Azure services. Achieve and maintain professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, HPE ASE or Master ASE, VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE.
  • Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision
  • Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards
  • Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
