Placement Officer - Kochi, India - Ayoti Technologies
Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Placement Officer to join our team.As a Placement Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with industry organizations, facilitating internships and job placements for our students, and providing ongoing support to ensure their successful transition into the workforce.
Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of industry partners, including cybersecurity firms, IT companies, and government agencies, to facilitate internship and job placement opportunities for our students.
*Collaborate with the career services team to identify job market trends, industry demands, and employer preferences to tailor placement strategies accordingly.
*Coordinate and oversee the internship and placement process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations.
*Provide career counseling and guidance to students, including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
*Track and analyze placement data to evaluate the effectiveness of placement strategies and identify areas for improvement.
*Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and job market developments to provide relevant and up-to-date information to students and employers.
*Maintain accurate records of student placements and employer feedback to assess program outcomes and enhance future placement efforts.
Qualifications:
*Prior experience in student placement, career services, recruitment, or HR management, preferably in the education sector.
*Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with industry professionals and employers.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to counsel and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
*Proven track record of successfully placing students in internships or full-time positions.
Proficiency *Proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM software. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
