    Role Description

    As a Senior Front End Engineer, your primary focus will be building the Client side of our product, working alongside back-end developers to create a comprehensive digital platform. An expert in the domain and able to develop frontend systems with a high degree of accuracy, you will consistently develop code that is aligned with the overall vision to ensure the highest quality development is always achieved and it creates a great user experience.You will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface and user experience of our products & driving innovation

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with the Engineering Lead & Product leads across the other product areas in the business
    • Develop reusable components and front-end libraries to ensure efficiency for future projects.
    • Translate design concepts and wireframes into high-quality, functional code.
    • Optimize components to achieve peak performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
    • Collaborate closely with back-end developers during the development of RESTful APIs.
    • You will work very closely with the rest of the team to ensure our systems are fit for purpose through a nuanced understanding of the business context and the factors that drive the product life cycle.

    Qualifications

    • Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills
    • Experience of working with code repositories (e.g. Git), bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla) and Wikis (e.g. Confluence)
    • Significant and demonstrable experience designing micro-service architecture patterns
    • Experience with Javascript & related technologies
    • Experience with React/Redux including developing and supporting production applications
    • Experience with React Native
    • Experience of working with API implementation patterns and interfaces
    • 5+ years of experience as a Front-end Engineer
    • Experience of developing responsive web apps
    • Experience in writing semantic HTML5, CSS3 and CSS pre-processors
    • Understanding of app/browser performance improvement techniques and potential cross-browser issues

    Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with MarTech platforms, knowledge of AI and ML technologies, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
