    Description

    Position Title :
    IT Analyst Applications (SAP Data Engineer).


    Location :
    Bangalore, India.

    Experience : 10+ years of relevant experience in IT.


    Job Summary :

    The SAP Data Engineer will assume the role of As-Built BOM Business Developer and will be accountable for crafting facility-specific data objects using Snowflake SQL logic.

    They will spearhead the development of solutions and logic by collaborating with various functional and technical teams.

    Familiarity with Client's business processes, system landscapes, and iterative development processes is essential.


    Responsibilities :

    • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to grasp business requirements effectively.
    • Formulate solution designs tailored to the specific ERP/facility assigned within the program.
    • Implement solution designs according to the requirements template to construct a facilityspecific data model.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts assigned by the business to generate data sets for addressing business queries regarding facility data elements.
    • Validate the final data model in conjunction with the assigned subject matter expert from the business.
    • Offer architectural guidelines to streamline processes.

    Required Skillsets :

    • Possess over 6 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrate over 3 years of proficiency in utilizing Snow SQL within a Snowflake environment and mastery of the top 100 SQL and PL/SQL commands to fulfill data model requirements.
    • Acquire over 5 years of experience in Manufacturing systems, particularly in SAP modules/applications.
    • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of business concepts such as BOM, inventory parts consumption, part number change and revision level, part hierarchy, and linking serialized product with serialized component from other facilities.
    • Handson experience within EDS, Teamcenter, MAMM, MESA, QAD, IFS, Glovia, and PEGI applications is highly advantageous.
    • Display adeptness in iterative problemsolving within POC projects, even in the absence of clear directions.
    • Proficient in structuring data into hierarchical models.
    • Capable of translating technical inquiries into data owner and architecture escalation points.
    • Familiarity with agile principles and IT project management is desirable.
    • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problemsolving environment.
    • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient presentation, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong troubleshooting, problemsolving, and conceptualization skills.
    Work Timings : 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST (Approx.).
