Total - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Backup operations and administration. Good exposure to

Enterprise etc.,

Good exposure and operations support for LAN based, Fiber based backup solution

Hands-on experience on Veritas Netbackup solution Experience on Disk to Disk to Tape backup solutions

Experience in managing backup policies creation, updates, deletion Experience in managing tapes along

with labeling and catalog updates

Experience in backup restoration from tapes or disk-based backup Knowledge and experience with Tape

offsite requirements

Engineer should have expertise in areas like troubleshooting and handling of various backup solution

including tape library related issues Patch management / security operations of backup solution Multi

OEM Enterprise grade Tape Libraries (HP, IBM) Monitoring, upgrade (firmware) of Tape Library

Knowledge in multiple OS Windows/Linux Performance Monitoring & Management of backup solution &
tape library Experience in Virtual Tape Library management

Good understanding of DR process for backup solution and monitor / support same Escalation

Management (Internal, within NSEIL and with OEM) Good communication skills
