Overview:
**_

Role Purpose_**- The purpose of the role is to lead the automation initiativesincluding Holmes within the client accounts of a vertical for serviceline offerings to increase the efficiency and productivity.

_


_Do_
- **- _ Review and stay abreast with current and upcoming trends inautomation technology and best practices as well as account deliveryprocesses and requirements in the BU/ DU_
- _ Develop and review the Account Automation Plans for each accountin the BU in consultation with the Account Partners and Delivery teams_
- _ Evaluates client/BU needs, develops configurations that supportbusiness processes_
- _ Support the Account and delivery teams in presenting thebusiness case for the automation to the client and seek approval _
- _Audit configuration items to verify conformance tospecifications, drawings and interface control documents, and othercontractual requirements_
- _ Develop scalable standards of dashboard and process supportsystem for active automation monitoring_
- _ Develop Statements of Work for requested customization ofreports/ software/ technology and add-ons as required_
- _ Maintain all related documentation, schematics, models and keepscontrol drawings updated._
- _ Serve as the project's technical point of contact toimplement and manage the appropriate level of access control to protectexport controlled, proprietary, and sensitive project information_
- **Coordinate with the teams for product development andsupport automation and governance**- _ Understand the overall infrastructure landscape by reviewing thecurrent solutions at play within various accounts in the BU_
- _ Identify and implement innovative solutions to present andfuture customer needs including deriving requirements from customerinteractions, internal as well as external_
- _ Reviews the automation projects on progress and resolves complexescalations related to operations, production, quality control,schedules and maintenance _
- _Sets configuration policies and procedures and process fordocumentation/ knowledge management of the automation projects andreviews adherence to processes and standards established_
- _ Advise on the set up and development of procedures and theintegration of business rules into the system_
- _ Provide support for online demonstrations, training, and supportfor new and existing customers on automation platform_
- **Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal deliverysolutions**- _ Manage all the alignment across timelines and products withpolicies and procedures followed and ensure quality assurance_
- _ Actively participates in the resolution of any such problemsthrough the exercise of independent judgment in consult with the team_
- _ Support maintenance Business Unit (BU) during devicetroubleshooting and instrument calibration and is a direct source ofassistance to Deployment Team_
- _ Assist external clients and internal teams in the implementationof technical systems, software, hardware or solutions. _
- _Integrate automated builds and build artifacts into testenvironments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools to check theperformance of the software._
- _ Ensure the quality of work performed, supports, promotes andutilizes continuous improvement systems._
- _ Observes and promotes best practices, standardize technology,good time management and is able to analyze root cause failures_
- _ Responsible for controlling the configuration of the system andensuring consistency of implementation across the modules in BUs_
- **Capability development**- _ Review the upcoming automation trends, technologies and ways ofworking and identify the capability gap within the team_
- _ Leverage the customer technology potential to identify thecapabilities required to support the client_
- _ Develop/ contribute to the development of training modules tobuild the capability within the team_
- **Team Management**- _ Resourcing_

  • Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future businessneeds
  • Hire adequate and right resources for the team
  • Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selectiondecisions
- _ Talent Management_

  • Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro's standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability &effectiveness
  • Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their careerprogression within the organization
  • Promote diversity in leadership positions

  • Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviewsand appraisals, give constructive feedback to direct reports.
  • Incase of performance issues, take necessary action with zerotolerance for 'will' based performance issues

  • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
  • Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to buildengagement within the team
  • Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/initiatives for the organization or
