Architect - Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM)

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Technical

Thorough understanding on CIAM business processes, use cases and hands on implementation experience in Web Access Management areas like Authentication, Authorization, SSO, Federation, Multi Factor Authentication, Risk based Authentication, Identity Proofing, Web Fraud Management etc. using any leading access management products.
Experience with PingIdentity, Okta, ForgeRock, Azure B2C, Auth0, IBM is an advantage.
Must have done CIAM product evaluations based on customer requirements.
Ability to understand the organizations' Information Security "big picture" including the Compliance Regulations, business drivers, Access Management processes, tools, and practices and their inter dependencies; and at the same time should have attention to implementation level details.
Strong understanding of Architecture, Design, and implementation experience in Web Access Management.
At least 4year experience in architecting highly available, scalable, and agile CIAM solutions (WAM, SSO, Risk based authentication, Federation, etc.) in alignment with larger enterprise (security) architecture.
Strong experience in preparing high level and lowlevel solution design documents.
Should have at least 23 years development experience in JAVA programming language
Should have in depth understanding of high availability aspects of access management components, its internal architecture, performance tuning and configuration in standalone and clustered mode.
Certification in one of the leading web access management products.
Must be certified in least in one of the following: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, SABSA, TOGAF (Security)
