Your Career


The Regional CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) will serve as a trusted advisor to our most strategic customers in the region, actively helping transform their cybersecurity programs and maturity.

Building these trusted relationships with C-level peers will require the Regional CSO to demonstrate executive presence as well as strong technical credentials.


The types of executive personas the Regional CISO will interact with range from CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, CFOs to government and public policy leaders.

In addition to domain expertise and established industry credibility, the Regional CSO will need to display a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy towards our customers' mission.


As the global cybersecurity leader, we have a strong point of view on 'what good looks like' based on our experiences and learnings from partnering with over 80,000 customers globally.

This point of view is backed by our market leading platforms that deliver cybersecurity business outcomes for customers.

The Regional CISO will bring their own experience and market insights to help amplify this message and tell the company story from the lens of their own personal journey in cybersecurity.


Your Impact
In this role, as a member of the regional technical leadership team at Palo Alto Networks, you will:


  • Build Trusted Relationships:Build peer level 'trusted advisor' relationships with industry leaders and C-level executives and lead executive advisory boards in the region.

Drive 'Outcome Driven' Engagements: Own the peer relationship with customers' C-level executives. Work closely with strategic account teams through a structured engagement model to drive business outcomes from early stage customer interactions to deal closure.

Scale The Business: Produce content for and advise the sales team on key security topics and executive communication strategies. Provide early market feedback from customers to the Product Management team, ensuring our platforms continue to deliver the outcomes customers need.

Amplify Our Message:Represent Palo Alto Networks at marquee industry conferences and events, presenting original ideas and content where needed. Work proactively with industry influencers and peers to position Palo Alto Networks as the cybersecurity partner of choice.


Qualifications:


Your Profile and Brand

  • Past experience as a CIO, CTO, CISO, CSO or senior technical cybersecurity advisory role
  • Confident and measured public speaker with good listening skills and high EQ
  • Good collaborative skills and the ability to develop and grow strong relationships with internal stakeholders from the Asia/Pacific and Japan leadership team
  • Active participant in cybersecurity industry associations/communities

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of the threat landscape and how it impacts customers' business priorities
  • Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, MITRE, etc) to design cybersecurity roadmaps for customers
  • Experience with 'transformational' cybersecurity domains such as cloud native security (CNAPP), secure access service edge (SASE) and Security Operations Centers (SOC)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts and differentiators into executive level messaging/conversations
