As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive traffic and conversions.

You will develop and execute social media campaigns, create compelling content, monitor and analyze social media metrics, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Your role will involve managing multiple social media platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing and business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives.
Identify target audience segments and determine the appropriate social media channels for engagement.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Content Creation and Management:
Create and curate engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms (e.g., text, images, videos, infographics).
Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent, timely posting and brand messaging.
Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and videos.
Monitor and moderate user-generated content and engage with the online community.

Campaign Execution:
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, services, events, or brand initiatives.
Utilize paid social media advertising to reach wider audiences and achieve specific campaign objectives.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
Stay up-to-date with social media platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends.

Social Media Listening and Analytics:
Monitor social media platforms for mentions, comments, and conversations related to the brand.
Track and analyze key social media metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion rates) to measure campaign effectiveness.
Generate regular reports and provide insights to improve social media performance.
Utilize social listening tools to gather customer insights, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities.

Community Management and Customer Service:
Engage with the online community, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and other teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., influencers, agencies) for social media campaigns or collaborations.
Stay informed about the company's brand guidelines and ensure consistent brand representation across social media platforms.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
  • Indepth knowledge of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a datadriven approach.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) is a plus.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are desirable.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing principles is advantageous.
