Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform health checks & Monitor infrastructure, servers, databases, distributed batch jobs
- Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes and tools
- Manage, track and validate all changes to the Production, Disaster Recovery environment.
- Manage incidents and leverage crossfunctional teams to quickly eliminate impacts
- Escalate issues/Risks effectively when necessary across supporting framework
- Knowledge (documentation) management experience. Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to align IT service offerings with business strategies, goals, and objectives
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and perform critical thinking around driving an issue to resolution
- Troubleshoot technical issues or escalate and work with appropriate technology teams to provide solutions.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Banking & financial industry system experience
- Infrastructure product knowledge as mentioned above in Responsibilities.
- Experience with ITIL processes
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux platform.
- Strong SQL/RDBMS skills preferably on Oracle & Sqlserver platform
- Strong on cloud platform (GKP/GAP/GOS/GKS) and Level1 or level 2 AWS knowledge
- Experience working with scheduling tools like Autosys/Control-M
- Experience working with APM tools
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Service now tool for Incident/Change/Problem management
- Scripting language like Python, Shell scripting
