Develop generic requirements to the SW (where generic means not related to a particular function)

Define SW architectural designs to realize SW requirements:

Define new SW components if required by SW architectural design.
Allocate SW requirements to SW components.
Develop derived requirements for SW components components, according to the collaboration of components designed by architecture.
Documentation of design decisions (including evaluation of design alternatives).
SW architect in projects needs only to consider project specific requirements.
SW architect in projects shall consider platform architecture/concepts.
Verify (by review) specifications of SW architecture.

Management of the SW interfaces:

Steer and lead the discussions of SW interfaces (identify and avoid redundant interfaces).
Approve definition of SW component interfaces done by SW-CR.

Link between (customer) project (-architecture) and mainstream (-architecture):

Establish communication between project and platform for architectural relevant issues.
Mainstream architect will introduce new concepts regarding architecture to the project architects.
Project architect shall discuss project specific approaches with mainstream architects.
Administration and adaptation of UML Model (Enterprise Architect) regarding SW architecture
Project architect has to update UML model for each mainpath update.
Project architect has to maintain the project UML model according to the design updates.
Verify consistency of SW architecture and realized SW components.

- μC resource estimation for new features.

Communication of overall SW architecture to all relevant stakeholders.
Support SW developers in SW engineering and SW design questions:
Peer review of SW designs (not code review).
Support test team with respect to integration testing:
Impact analysis related to architectural changes.

QualificationsQualificationsB.E/B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering8-10 Years of experience
