Eligibility:


  • 6 to 8 years of proven experience in travel sales and business development in travel industry
  • Post Graduate / Graduate in tourism studies / similar preferred

Responsibilities:


  • Identify and follow up with existing and potential guests, corporates and travel agents to enhance bookings of the branch.
  • Achieve monthly sales target of the branch (GIT, FIT, MICE, Inbound, Visa, Flight and Forex.
  • Monitor targets on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and take necessary action for to increase bookings.
  • Identify and evaluate market segments in and around the branch for direct marketing of Veena World brand and products.
  • Represent the company and generate business from various sources such as digital campaigns, conferences, tradeshows, roadshows, other industry events etc.
  • Assist guests in visa and accounting processes and ensure that once a booking is confirmed all aspects of the Guest's tour is managed personally, correctly and on time.
  • Create and maintain rapport with loyal guests of Bengaluru (leisure and MICE), personnel in business potential organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, tourism boards, VFS, consulate and embassy.
  • Be updated about campaigns, products, strategies, services related information and all happenings of Veena World.
  • Be updated about local competition, new products, airline, visa information and share with concerned departments on a timely basis.
  • Produce and maintain necessary reports and MIS as directed by the Management and other stakeholders.
  • Pay keen attention to decorum, upkeep and ambiance of the office.
  • Ensure that Guests experience Veena World culture and hospitality at every point of their interaction.

About the team:


  • As an Incharge of the team, you will be required to direct, supervise and lead the team to achieve their sales targets while simultaneously ensuring that the Guest is taken care of and services offered are as per the brand standards. You will also be required to monitor the trends in sales and share productive feedback with the concerned teams to enhance sales / services. Resolving Guest complaints, difference of opinion amongst team or low work performance concerns, if they arise is an important part of the profile. As a team lead, you will also be responsible to arrange training for the team in the areas which need improvement.
