Job Description:

As a Field Service Engineer at Studio Next, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive top-notch technical support and service for our Garment CAD/CAM solutions. You will be responsible for delivering on-site assistance, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance to our customers. This role will require a deep understanding of our software and hardware solutions, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Setup: Install and configure our Garment CAD/CAM software and hardware solutions at customer sites, ensuring they are up and running effectively.

Training: Provide training sessions to clients to ensure they understand how to use our solutions optimally, including software operation, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Technical Support: Respond to customer inquiries and issues, both remotely and on-site, diagnosing problems and providing effective solutions promptly. Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues.

Preventative Maintenance: Regularly perform maintenance tasks, such as updates and system checks, to ensure our solutions are operating at peak performance.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, service calls, and installation procedures.

Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, becoming a trusted technical advisor and the face of our company.

Product Feedback: Relay customer feedback and insights to the product development team to contribute to ongoing product improvement.

Travel: Travel to customer locations for on-site support and installations as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree Or Diploma in Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or field service role, preferably in the CAD/CAM or garment industry, is a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Garment CAD/CAM software and hardware solutions. Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems, plotter systems, and computer networks is desirable.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Customer-Focused: A customer-oriented approach with a dedication to providing exceptional service.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work effectively in a team.

Adaptability: Willingness to travel and work on-site as required and adapt to evolving technology and customer needs.
