    Job Title - Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

    Job Location - Magarpatta, Pune, Maharashtra

    Our client is building the largest, most open, and affordable Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) for the Retail, Food, and Hospitality Cloud ecosystem to enable millions of businesses to achieve automated operational data flows and instantly connect any number of apps. Their goal is to automate the operations for 1 Million+ businesses by 2025 which requires a few more exceptional people

    Position Overview -

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, with extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures. The role demands a deep understanding of algorithmic design, data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and serverless architectures. This position involves complex problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities -

    • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
    • Build and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
    • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
    • Work closely with the development team to implement feature development plans.
    • Conduct algorithm analysis, and design and develop algorithms that meet business needs.
    • Implement data storage solutions and ensure the integrity and security of data.
    • Use serverless architectures to enhance application scalability and manageability.
    • Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
    • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

    Required Skills and Qualifications -

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a PHP developer.
    • Strong hands-on experience with microservices.
    • Strong hands-on experience with testing such as Functional testing and unit testing.
    • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Slim, Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
    • Proficient understanding of algorithmic design, data structures, and OOP concepts.
    • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a must.
    • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

    Additional Skills -

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
    • Familiarity with continuous integration.
