Job Summary:


The Purchase Executive will be responsible for supporting the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.

This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals looking to start their career in procurement, providing opportunities to learn and grow within the company.


Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Process Support:


  • Assist in executing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Supplier Interaction:


  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Help develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
  • Participate in regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual terms and quality standards.

Negotiation and Contract Support:


  • Support negotiations for favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Help resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly and effectively.

Cost Management:


  • Assist in analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support the implementation of strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising on quality.
  • Monitor and report on procurement costs and budget adherence.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure all documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with other departments, such as production, finance, and logistics, to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Internship or project experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.

Working Conditions:


  • This position may require occasional travel to meet with suppliers or attend industry events.
  • Typical office environment with some work required in warehouse or production areas.

Pay:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
