Job Description:
Account payable

  • Ensuring 3 way / 2 way match,
  • Comparing system reports/PO to invoices and verifying accuracy as per standard policies and internal controls.
  • Receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices by System / manual.
  • Collaborating with purchase, Stores, master data teams and Intercompany partners (outside India) to gather, analyze the GR /invoices data before process
  • Responsible for verify all taxes involved e.g. GST, TDS etc., and appropriate accounting of such taxes
  • Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
  • Communicate purchase order amendments to Buyer, if needed.
  • Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger
  • Perform recordkeeping and prepare schedules of AP as required for Financials
  • Intercompany Accounts payable (Global)
  • Carry out Intercompany AP booking from India for various entities located outside India.
  • That might require to work in different time Zone for few days in a month (mainly USA time)
  • That might also require to work with different ERP and tools (e.g. Esker)
  • Skills / Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP,
  • MS office tools
  • Experience of working in MNC
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
