Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Sartorius 2L and 10L twin fermenters for the production of biosimilars and APIs.
• Execute fermentation processes, including inoculation, feeding, sampling, and harvesting.
• Monitor and control critical process parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation speed to optimize production yields.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of fermentation equipment to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Development, Quality Control, and Manufacturing to ensure smooth scale-up and tech transfer of fermentation processes.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshooting strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fermentation operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout the fermentation process.
• Conduct data analysis and interpret results to provide insights and recommendations for process optimization and improvements.
• Train and mentor junior team members on fermentation techniques and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

2. 4-5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a focus on fermentation processes.

• Strong knowledge of operating and troubleshooting Sartorius 2L and 10L twin fermenters.
• Proficiency in monitoring and controlling critical process parameters in fermentation, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation speed.
• Familiarity with downstream processing techniques related to fermentation, such as centrifugation, filtration, and chromatography.
• Experience in process optimization, scale-up, and tech transfer of fermentation processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and GMP requirements in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement improvements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Salary:
₹70, ₹80,000.00 per month
