About Yein Udaan:
Yein Udaan is a grassroots organisation in Chennai, established in 2017 to provide marginalised children, youth and women access to a safe space with diverse learning opportunities.
We hand-hold children from cradle to college with the vision to set them on life-changing paths and empower youth and women through our education and employment initiatives.
The Growth Officer will be required to:
Strategise short-term and long-term funding and marketing plans, goals, cycles and opportunities.
Research CSRs, HNIs, grants, awards, events and other giving networks to create a comprehensive database of institutions and individuals whose values and vision align with that of the organisation.
Shortlist opportunities most relevant to the work of the organisation, maximising the potential of converting a prospect into a partner, and succeeding at grands and awards.
Convince by creating and presenting robust pitches through impactful storytelling, adapted to be aligned with the values and vision of each potential donor and award.
Coordinate the roster of potential and current donors to meet needs of both the donor as well as the organisation, building trust in the donor towards a long-term healthy relationship and investment.
Report transparentlythe activities, impact, expenses and investments of the organisation to the donor to maintain trust.
Market online and offline the work of the organisation, create and implement crowdfunding plans to mobilise individuals to partner with the organisation's efforts.

The role requires:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in marketing, PR and/or fundraising
- Track record of proven effective communication skills written and oral in both Tamil and English
- Ability to create impactful and meaningful stories and collateral capturing the essence of the organisation
- Experience in recruiting and maintaining databases of clients, partners, donors or investors
- Understanding of grassroots realities would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office is compulsory
The role will:
- Work alongside the CEO and other senior leaders
- Work fulltime and onsite
- Receive a remuneration between INR 3.00 to 3.60 lakhs p/a
- Be expected to carry and use their own laptop with updated MS Office software
Salary:
₹30,000.00 per month
