    Description
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Developer to join our team.

    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with business teams to understand requirements, developing system applications to CDW coding standards, and managing complex project efforts in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business system applications.
    • Additionally, the Senior Application Developer will work closely with other CDW teams to determine optimal solution architectures, develop highlevel system narratives, and ensure application efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
    • This role also involves disaster recovery planning, stakeholder communication, and mentoring junior team members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Requirement Clarification and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with business teams to clarify requirements and understand business needs effectively.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

    Application Development:

    • Develop system applications adhering to CDW coding standards and ensuring highquality deliverables.
    • Utilize an objectoriented software lifecycle methodology to ensure efficient development processes.

    Project Management:

    • Technically manage complex and largescale project efforts throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Ensure timely completion of projects/tasks according to commitments made to stakeholders and management.

    Solution Architecture and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other CDW teams to determine the optimal solution architecture for application efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

    System Narrative Development:

    • Collaborate with business teams to develop highlevel system narratives and storyboards to guide the development process.

    Disaster Recovery Planning:

    • Develop and update Disaster Recovery plans for business system applications.
    • Participate in Disaster Recovery testing activities to ensure system resilience.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Proactively update stakeholders on project/task statuses and maintain open and courteous communication channels.
    • Report project/task status to the appropriate Application Development Manager on a weekly basis.

    Mentorship and Technical Resource:

    • Serve as a mentor and technical resource for the Application Admin team and Application Developers.
    • Provide guidance on technical aspects, best practices, and industry standards.

    Education and Experience Qualification:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of application development experience.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong proficiency in application development adhering to coding standards.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
    • Solid understanding of solution architecture principles and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing.
    • Proficient in objectoriented software development methodologies.
    • Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
