Job Summary:
We areseeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to joinour team in the manufacturing of Filter Press equipment. TheProduction Engineer will be responsible for managing the productionprocess, optimizing manufacturing operations, and ensuring theefficient use of resources. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SixSigma, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks will be crucial for this role.Additionally, the Production Engineer will oversee the managementof raw materials for the department to ensure smooth productionflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeand optimize the manufacturing process of Filter Pressequipment.
- Develop and implement efficient productionplans and schedules to meet quality, cost, and deliverytargets.
- Identify and implement lean manufacturingprinciples and techniques to improve productivity and eliminatewaste.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify andimplement process improvements for quality enhancement and costreduction.
- Collaborate with the design team to reviewand analyze product designs using AutoCAD andSolidWorks.
- Monitor and manage raw material inventorylevels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinatewith suppliers to ensure timely delivery of rawmaterials.
- Conduct regular inspections and qualitychecks to ensure compliance with specifications andstandards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-relatedissues to minimize downtime and maintain smoothoperations.
- Train and mentor production staff on bestpractices and new processes.
- Maintain accuratedocumentation and records related to productionactivities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
-Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in theproduction of industrial equipment such as Filter Press.
-Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigmamethodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks fordesign review and analysis.
- Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage raw materialinventory effectively.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functionalteams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality andcontinuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-pacedand dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulationsand practices within a manufacturing setting.
