Job Title :
Freight broker
- Ocean/air freight
- OTR/trucking
- Rail/intermodal
- International Freight
Responsibilities:
- Collecting data from customers to understand their shipping needs.
- Obtaining shipping quotes from carriers and forwarding them to customers.
- Booking freight service through carriers for customers to crack good margins.
- Arranging and scheduling the pickup and drop off of shipments.
- Supervising the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive on time and undamaged.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 6 months experience in US logistics and sales(brokerage/OTR/Drayage)
- Established book of business required
- Independent team player that can work remotely
- Comfortable working as per US timings
- Handson Knowledge of MS office
