Description

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled professional to take care of our Import and Export requirements as an Import Export Manager.

• Administer all import and export of goods/services and supervise delivery of all goods/services and manage distribution of all goods to various geographical locations efficiently.
• Oversee handling of all goods and ensure safety in all transportation and design cost effective methods for same and analyze best means of transport for all products as per customer requirement in coordination with management.
• Understanding of international trade compliance requirements and providing required suggestions to management to comply with the same.
• Must be familiar with inventory management tools to track stocks, plan production, procurement and sales and even prevent stockouts or excess stocks. Further knowledge in planning and scheduling jobs to be done, collaboration with colleagues as well as hasslefree documentation and evaluation is required.
• Networking skills including interaction with multiple stakeholders such as customers; vendors such as freight forwarders, transport service providers; and representatives of government agencies such as customs officials.
• Collaborate with senior management and ensure compliance to all trade regulations and changes and provide training to all company employees for all import processes.
• Design all compliance forms and templates and prepare required reports and maintain an efficient import and export classification databases and ensure accuracy in same and ensure compliance to all regulations.
• Perform all internal and external audits and perform required prior disclosures for all processes and supervise efficient working of all external agents such as freight forwarders and custom agents. Maintain required documentation for audit purposes.
• Guidance to customers on how to reduce taxes and duties owed.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
