Quality Incharge (Garment Industry)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Incharge to join our garment manufacturing company.

As a Quality Incharge, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance in our production processes, from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation.

Your role will be critical in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior quality garments to our customers.


Responsibilities:


Quality Control Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes, procedures, and standards for the garment manufacturing operations. Ensure adherence to quality guidelines throughout all stages of production.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections and audits of raw materials, work-in-progress garments, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.

Identify and address any quality deviations promptly.

Defect Analysis and Prevention:
Analyze defects and quality issues in garments, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to address quality concerns and implement process improvements.

Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to optimize quality, efficiency, and productivity. Recommend and implement innovative techniques and technologies to enhance quality control capabilities.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare quality reports and metrics to monitor performance and communicate findings to management.

Training and Development:
Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality control procedures, techniques, and standards. Foster a culture of quality consciousness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and components. Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards related to garment manufacturing and quality control. Ensure compliance with local and international quality and safety requirements.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production managers, designers, merchandisers, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns, resolve issues, and improve overall product quality.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in quality control or garment technology are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Incharge or in a similar quality management role within the garment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, garment production processes, and industry quality standards.
  • Familiarity with international quality and safety standards such as ISO, ASTM, and AATCC.
  • Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and quality parameters.
  • Proficiency in quality inspection tools and equipment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and analyze quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering superior quality products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary:
From ₹13,000.00 per month
