Evaluating and diagnosing patients' health issues that may require surgery.
Consulting with patients and their families about potential surgical options and the associated risks.
Performing surgical procedures, which may include preoperative, operative, and postoperative care.
Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals such as anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical technologists.
Interpreting and analyzing diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, including documentation of surgical procedures.
Staying current with the latest surgical techniques and medical research.
Providing followup care to patients after surgical procedures, including monitoring recovery and managing any complications.
Ensuring the surgical environment meets all standards of safety and hygiene.
