- Feed into achieving targets of reduced time-to-market
- Create new test suites to cover functional and non-functional testing as required by the project
- Assist in achieving key outcomes to integrate automated test suites with CICD pipelines in Cloud/AWS environments
- Work collaboratively across project teams to implement standard practices of test automation and move away from silos
- 6+ years' experience in telecommunications testing / automation or related software-based roles.
- Design, implement and maintain the automated test cases, scripts, and libraries
- Identify the modularity within a test case which can be separated as a reusable logic
- Assist other team members in using automated test cases for their testing, as applicable
- Strive to left-shift the availability of the automated test suite in SDLC
- Contribute to the CICD integration of automated test scripts to support Canary deployments
- Document the reusable components within automation frameworks
- Identify, design and execute test cases for different test phases, preferably using automation and manually if automation is not feasible
- Expertise in test case writing and execution for functional testing, regression testing, sanity testing and production verification testing
- Expertise in both API and GUI based automation; REST APIs knowledge
- Expertise in backend application automation
- Experience in converting manual test cases to automated scripts
- Proficient scripting experience with Python
- Good troubleshooting skills to conduct root-cause analysis of the defects and to deep dive into live issues
- Hands-on experience with Agile Tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo, Harbor)
- Hands-on experience with Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience of testing and troubleshooting for projects hosted in Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Robot, Selenium framework
- Experience with different programming languages is preferred – Python, Json, Shell Scripting, CLI
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development
- Basic domain knowledge in 3G/4G/5G
- Basic working knowledge for linux/windows environment including remote accessing hosts performing basic administration tasks eg: check logs, resource usage etc
