Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join our remote team. As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our client's website's organic search rankings and drive organic traffic. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building.

Working closely with our content team, you will provide guidance and recommendations for optimizing website content, meta-tags, and other on-page elements. You will also conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic performance.

This is a remote position and requires strong communication skills, self-management abilities, and proficiency in remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and traffic
Perform keyword research and identify target keywords for optimization
Optimize website content, meta-tags, and other on-page factors
Conduct regular SEO audits to identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement
Perform backlink analysis and develop strategies for acquiring high-quality backlinks
Analyze website data and provide insights into SEO performance
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and search engine algorithm updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO recommendations
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO team members

Requirements

At least 3-4+ years' experience as a SEO expert or Specialist, or similar
In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building
Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Looker Studio and GSC
Experience with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
Strong analytical skills and ability to generate insights from data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving organic traffic
Experience with content management systems(wordpress/Drupal) and HTML/CSS
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Certifications in SEO or related fields are a plus
