    Description

    Company: Indian / Global Engineering & Manufacturing Organization

    Key Skills: Finite Element Analysis, Stress analysis, Initiation analysis, Propagation analysis, Finite Element Method, Solid Mechanics, Structural Mechanics, Simcenter3D, HYPERMESH, ANSYS

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct stress analysis, life analysis, initiation analysis, and propagation analysis using Finite Element Method (FEM).
    • Perform structural analysis to verify product requirements.
    • Interpret analysis results and propose design solutions based on physics principles.
    • Utilize tools such as Simcenter3D, HYPERMESH, and ANSYS for meshing and analysis.
    • Apply product knowledge, particularly related to aero engines, especially IMC/TEC or other casings.
    • Contribute to technical development in processes, products, or personnel.
    • Optionally, customize and program using ANSYS APDL/Python.
    • Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
    • Demonstrate strong technical report writing skills.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Embrace LEAN culture and mindset.

    Skills Required:

    • 10+ years of experience in stress/life (initiation/propagation) analysis through FEM.
    • Excellent fundamentals in Solid Mechanics.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Simcenter3D, HYPERMESH, and ANSYS.
    • Strong understanding of aero engine components and related product requirements verification.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Programming skills, preferably using ANSYS APDL/Python.
    • Exposure to Simcentre tool.

    Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
