Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Leadership:Develop and communicate the company's technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives.

Lead and mentor the technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the business.

Product Development and Innovation:Drive the development and execution of innovative product strategies, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, features, and technical requirements.
Champion the use of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices in product development.

Architecture and Engineering:Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the creation of robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures.

Foster a culture of engineering excellence, advocating for best practices, code quality, and technical debt reduction.
Lead architectural discussions, making informed decisions about technology stacks, frameworks, and tools.

Technology Partnerships and Vendor Management:Identify and establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors, fostering relationships to enhance our technical capabilities.

Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Security and Compliance:Lead efforts to ensure the security and compliance of our technology solutions, working closely with cybersecurity teams.

Develop and implement security policies, practices, and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and systems.

Innovation and Research:Encourage a culture of innovation within the technical teams, fostering an environment where new ideas are explored and tested.

Oversee research and development efforts to explore and assess new technologies that can drive competitive advantage.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:Manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

Monitor and report on budget performance, making recommendations for optimizing resource utilization.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a technology leader with a strong track record of innovation and technical excellence.
  • Deep understanding of software development, architecture, and engineering principles.
  • Experience with leading and managing crossfunctional technical teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in security, compliance, and data protection.

Preferred:


  • Master's degree or MBA with a technology focus.
  • Experience with scaling technology solutions in a rapidly growing company.
  • Previous experience in a CTO or senior technology leadership role.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, etc.
