Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze daytoday trends in the têxtile and jute industry to ensure our products remain current and competitive.
Create mood boards and color palettes to inspire and guide product development for customers.
Design and develop new products based on seasonal trends and market demand.
Plan and execute photoshoots to effectively showcase new products.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and facilitate new product development.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques.
Prepare detailed product specifications and design documentation.
Work closely with the marketing team to align product launches with promotional strategies.
Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Ensure all designs meet quality and sustainability standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Textile Designer or similar role, preferably in the jute industry.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in têxtile design and product development.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Excellent understanding of color theory, fabric properties, and production processes.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred.
