As the Quantitative Investment Professional in our Data, Analytics and Modeling Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job responsibilities

  • Work closely with our strategic partners including Portfolio Management, Investment Research, and Business Leader Groups including but not limited to Long-Only Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset, as well as Long-Short, Macro, Credit Relative Value Hedge Funds within JPMorgan Asset & Wealth Management, to provide a variety of cuttingedge, quantitative tools to enhance our research process
  • Propose new and redesign existing process flows, models and user tools to achieve efficiencies and controls
  • Collaborate with technology team and share strategic enhancements of existing tools and identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics and models across investment teams
  • Provide, maintain and automate quantitative analytics including: Holdings based and returns based investment strategy analysis, portfolio construction and optimization, systematic research and due diligence tools
  • Liaising between business and technology to enhance investment analytics platform, i.e. implementing proper user entitlement and maintaining analytical toolkit inventory
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 47 years of work experience in Quantitative Research / Analytics / Machine Learning / Data
Science role with preferred focus on Risk Analytics or Financial Markets - Investment and/or Asset and Wealth Management

  • Graduate / Master degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics / Statistics, Finance / Economics, Computer Science / Engineering, etc.) and strong programming skills with Data Architecture and Scripting capabilities in Python
  • Strong knowledge of Statistics and Econometrics and the ability to analyze large data sets and parse complex tasks; juggle priorities in a highly dynamic professional environment
  • Keen interest in Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, and innovative research analysis
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Good to have an experience navigating and interpreting quantitative research documentation and understanding of fund strategies / structures.
  • Good to have BI experience which could be leveraging MS Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense etc.
  • CQF, FRM, CFA preferred
