Your new role - challenging and future-oriented


As a I&C Installation Engineer in Battery Energy Storage Systems [BESS], you will be responsible for the development of BESS installation processes, procedures/work instructions, plans, and coordination with field personnel and third party suppliers of I&C scope of work for Battery Energy Storage installations.


  • Develop lean site infrastructure & site installation concepts for BESS.
  • Design, costing and scheduling for civil works with internal & external support.
  • Civil Works includes earthworks, cable trenches, concrete structures (e.g. foundation), steelworks (if applicable), roads, pavements and fencing etc.
  • Review Electrical and I&C engineering and design incl. BoQ.
  • Electrical and I&C installation works for all supplied products, components and equipment incl. cable laying and cable connections.
  • Establish standard proposal and execution documentation.
  • Encourage innovative approaches to technical issues and adopt industry best practice.
  • Drive execution concepts for civil & installation contractors with SCM.

We don't need superheroes, just super minds:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ Years of Experience in Installation & Commissioning.
  • Basic knowhow about standards, regulations, grid codes and market requirements.
  • Open minded and flexible to transfer technical requirements to competitive design & execution solutions.
  • Detail oriented, organized and used to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and presentation skills and a selforganized way of working in an intercultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally).
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German skills are a plus.
